Paul Revere, indeed... Saw some classic 'Goodness Gracious Me' clips in a too-precious-by-half W'burg (artsy) bar last night, a dungeon decorated in Tiffany crystal-like wine bottles and candles. Kulvinder Ghir's a dead-on Woody Allen impression (skit, Muslim boy becomes Jewish) was to die for. GGM was a national treasure...

The level of national dialogue about Asians is much more advanced in the UK than it is here, except for small liberal enclaves like Berkeley, Harvard and NYU. Had a velvet sidecar and a wonderful time.
